Suspected representatives of Boko Haram's Islamic State-backed West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly distributed Ramadan aid to some residents of villages in Borno and Yobe states.
Rice, beans, millet, corn, sugar, spaghetti, and cash gifts were among the products distributed by the rebels.
According to reports, insurgents are attempting to persuade local villagers to join their cause.
