• A magistrate who was at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti to review some cases in an effort to decongest the police facility granted bail today, May 17, to a Nigerian actor who has been in police custody since April for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of comedian, Princess.
• Baba Ijesha has yet to be released because his lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, is working to perfect his bail condition
• The bail is put at N500, 000 in bond.
Baba Ijesha has been in police custody since April for allegedly defiling comedian Princess' foster daughter. A magistrate who was at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti to review some cases granted the actor bail on health grounds. Due to the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria's strike, the accused actor has yet to be charged in court (JUSUN)
